Dear Stratford Community,
It is time for Stratford's spring blood drive, and as always Stratford Key Club relies on our Stratford family to make it a success. The spring blood drive is on Friday, January 28th, which is only a few days away. It will take place from 9am to 2pm in the Jett Science Center. We need your help; whether through volunteering or donating, there is something that you can do.
Donating blood helps people suffering from cancer, trauma, sickle cell, burns, and chronic disease patients. For about an hour of your time you can save lives. If you are 16 and up please consider donating. Sixteen-year-olds who are donating also need to bring in a paper copy of the parental consent form, filled out and signed by a parent, when coming in to give blood. The link for the consent form may be found below. If you wish to donate, please click on the link on the bottom of the page and type in the code "Stratford" to pull up the Stratford Academy blood drive which is the second blood drive that will pop up. In addition, donors please fill out the Red Cross Rapid Pass on the day of the drive. The Rapid Pass is only valid for one day and filling it out helps streamline the screening process, so please fill it out on January 28.
If you would like to volunteer, which involves setting up, checking in donors, taking care of those donating, and cleaning up, please fill out the google form at the bottom of this email and attend the volunteer meeting on Wednesday, January 25th during break (10:15 a.m.) in Mrs. Wangerin's room, Room 115.
While we are not requiring masks we ask that you wear a mask while inside our building. Covid-19 is still ongoing and highly contagious, so we ask that you help us stay safe.
If you have any concerns or questions about giving blood, feel free to click this link; or if you have any questions about the drive, please contact our vice president: Anna Wangerin at email@example.com.
