Stratford Academy Stratford Family,
For the last few weeks as our students have resumed school, it's been a welcome return to normal as we've watched our Eagle athletes play the sports they love so much. Cross Country, Softball and Volleyball have been competing and are having very successful seasons all thanks to their hard work and dedication. Additionally, in this "new normal" we're operating under, our coaches have made the necessary adjustments to allow us to practice and play safely, and we have both been incredibly proud of their efforts.
Perhaps more than ever before, our athletes have trained and worked diligently to prepare for the upcoming sports season, and with our first home football game set for Friday, September 11, we wanted to take this opportunity to explain our protocols and policies for sporting events during the COVID-19 era.
Attached to this email, you'll find our expectations for our students and their families while utilizing the Stratford athletic facilities for this school year. Please note that, despite making these things a requirement, it is extremely difficult for Stratford staff to enforce social distancing and mask wearing guidelines for spectators at athletic events. We would ask that each family do their best to monitor their own children and help us provide a safe and healthy game day experience.
While our cheering sections might look a bit unusual over the coming months, our mission remains the same: support and cheer on our Eagles to victory!
Eagle Pride!
