Where Potential Soars: Testimonials from our Eagles

Sophomore Ava Jeshuran shares how Stratford helps her soar

Finding a school community which supports students along their education journey provides students with the foundation to soar in college and beyond. They learn how to balance multiple activities and an academic course load. They form relationships with friends and teachers which last far beyond graduation. They become a community of learners who support each other in all walks of life.

If you are looking for a school which is focused on community, contact our Head of Admissions Lori Palmer (lori.palmer@stratford.org) to schedule a time to visit or tour Stratford Academy. She would love to show you where potential soars!

Students inspired to be their best, learning to be globally-minded, nurtured and challenged in all endeavors, and a committed faculty are some aspects of Stratford that have meant the most to the Peterson family. Knowing her sons are being cared for by teachers, coaches, and staff who want them to grow and succeed is the reassurance they have found the right school community for their family.

Jerry Xu, Where Potential Soars

When the Xu family moved to Macon, one of their first decisions was where to send their boys to school. After looking at all of the options in Middle Georgia, they found Stratford Academy had the same commitment to academics as they did. Their sons quickly made friends and became involved in numerous activities.

Griff Ethridge, Where Potential Soars Testimonial

In his 51 years at Stratford, Mr. Ethridge has taught thousands of students. For decades, he has seen that the school does not waiver on its mission of preparing each student with the tools he or she needs to be successful at whatever comes next. Stratford students are continually immersed in opportunities to become communicators, self thinkers, and independent learners, and those skills serve them well for the remainder of their lives.

A Stratford Student's Seven Lessons in Excellence

Stratford leaders and staff have spent the last 64 years working to provide excellence in all we do. You even hear us say "Excellence Never Rests," which means we fully believe that individuals should never rest on their laurels, but always strive to improve and grow. With that in mind, we have "Seven Lessons in Excellence" to correspond to our seven decades of existence and share some of the ways we live these out.
