Our comprehensive STEAM program harnesses innovation, design thinking, and real-world problem solving from early learning through graduation.

Innovation begins early.

Students are encouraged to ask questions, explore how things work, and experiment with technology, coding, and hands-on design. From their earliest experiences, learners engage in maker-centered projects that invite them to imagine solutions, build prototypes, test their ideas, and refine their work. This design-thinking process—plan, create, test, and improve—helps students see themselves as problem-solvers and innovators.

LS STEAM

"Minds-on" Thinking

As students grow, STEAM learning becomes increasingly sophisticated. They move from hands-on exploration to “minds-on” thinking, applying creativity and logic to real-world engineering challenges.

MS STEAM

Through robotics, digital design, and collaborative projects, students strengthen critical thinking, perseverance, and teamwork while learning to approach complex problems with confidence and purpose.

At the upper levels, innovation truly takes flight. Students engage deeply in engineering, design, and advanced computer science coursework that emphasizes independence, responsibility, and original thinking.

US STEAM

Project-based learning allows students to pursue meaningful, real-world applications—such as designing functional furniture for campus spaces or developing creative projects that serve the broader school community. These experiences reflect Stratford’s commitment to learning that is authentic, relevant, and student-driven.

Throughout the program, STEAM at Stratford is about more than mastering skills—it is about cultivating a lifelong love of learning. Students are encouraged to take intellectual risks, iterate on ideas, and embrace challenges as opportunities for growth. World STEM Day and other celebrations highlight this spirit of discovery, honoring the creativity and innovation that define the Stratford experience.
