Antipoaching Fundraiser

Inspired by his experience in South Africa, Stratford Class of 2026 student Henry Tarbutton returned from his trip determined to make a difference. Seeing firsthand the effects humans have on rhinos and hearing powerful stories from guides about the devastating impact of poaching motivated him to take action.

Henry reached out to Mrs. Bridges with his idea, and together they created a plan to support rhino conservation. With the help and approval of the advancement team and Mrs. Dejdar, the project came to life.

All proceeds from the initiative will be carried by next year’s Eco-Africa group, who will hand-deliver the donation to a conservation organization in South Africa next summer.

Thanks to Henry’s leadership and support from the Stratford community, students are helping protect rhinos and make a global impact.
