FIRST LEGO League Robotics Headed to State

Stratford Academy is proud to celebrate an outstanding season for our FIRST LEGO League robotics teams. Our students demonstrated impressive skill, perseverance, and teamwork throughout the competition season, earning recognition at both the regional and super regional levels.

At the Regional Tournament in December, Team GREY (5th–6th grade) consistently earned strong scores in the Robot Game while gaining valuable competition experience. Team WHITE (7th grade) was recognized with the Robot Design Award for their thoughtful engineering process, strategic programming, and effective collaboration. Team BLUE (8th grade) achieved exceptional success, earning the Robot Performance Award as well as the tournament’s highest honor, Grand Champion.

Following their regional success, Teams WHITE and BLUE advanced to Super Regionals in January. Team BLUE continued their remarkable performance, tying for first place in the Robot Game and securing a spot at the Georgia State Championship, to be held at Georgia Tech on February 7.

We congratulate all of our robotics students on their dedication, growth, and commitment throughout the season. Their hard work reflects the strong emphasis on problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration that defines Stratford Academy. We wish Team BLUE the best of luck as they represent our school at the state championship.
