Varsity Boys Track Team

Boys Varsity Finishes Third in State

The varsity boys' track team finished 3rd of 20 teams in the state track meet.  The Eagles had 2 state champions-David O'Shaughnessey in the high jump, and Chaz Curtis in the 110 hurdles. Chaz also finished 6th in the 300 hurdles.  Obi Ekeledo and  Ryan Ridley  finished 2nd and 4th in the triple jump; Ryan also finished 8th in the 400. Drew Akacki finished 4th in the discus; JB Strauss finished 5th in the discus and 6th in the shot put. Marquez Lemon was the 4th place finisher in the long jump. Becker O'Shaughnessey joined his brother finishing 3rd in the high jump. The 400 relay team of Lemon, Chris Ellis, Chris Geeslin, and Culby Hinson finished in 4th place as well.
