Alumni

Since the first class of thirteen students graduated in 1962, Stratford Academy's alumni have always been a source of pride for our school. Today, over 3,318 Stratford graduates live in all 50 states across the U.S. and in 12 countries abroad.

Alumni are invited and encouraged to stay in touch with faculty and staff members at the school. Numerous avenues exist for sharing news and visiting with fellow alums, including:

ALUMNI HOMECOMING WEEKEND

Each year, Stratford alumni are invited as special guests to the school's Homecoming Weekend. A BBQ picnic is held for all alumni and their families prior to the Homecoming Football Game. During the football game, alumni are welcomed back to their alma mater. Many reunion year classes choose to host their class reunions during this time.

10:00  a.m.                     Stratford Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2010 Induction

The inaugural class for the Stratford Athletic Hall of Fame will be inducted at an all-school assembly in the gym. All alumni are invited to attend.

5:30-7:00 p.m.               Alumni BBQ

Alumni and their families are our guests at a picnic on the Spencer Frank Hays Soccer Field. Come enjoy dinner, music and children’s activities. In case of rain, picnic will be held in the cafeteria.

7:30 p.m.                       Stratford vs. Griffin Christian Academy

Alumni and their families receive complimentary admission to the Homecoming football game.

8:30 p.m.                      Alumni Homecoming & 2010 Hall of Fame Recognition

During halftime, join Stratford for the crowning of the 2010 Homecoming Queen and the recognition of alumni and the Hall of Fame Class of 2010.

Saturday, October 2

10:30 a.m.                     Campus Tours

Meet your fellow Eagles in the school front lobby for tours of the campus. 

REUNIONS

Like most schools, Stratford Academy hosts Class Reunions on a five-year rotating schedule. Typically, the senior class president or an appointed representative will coordinate the reunion activities.

The 2010 Reunion Year Classes are:

1965 * 1970 * 1975 * 1980 * 1980 * 1985 * 1990 * 1995 * 2000 * 2005

NEWS & EVENTS

Twenty-two Stratford alumni soccer players of all ages turned out for the 2009 Annual Alumni Soccer Game played on August 1, 2009. Check out other great photos from the night on Eagle Media - 2009 Alumni Soccer Game.

Pictured at the left are Stratford soccer alumni, David O'Shaughnessey '09 and Henry Hoyle '91.  David was the captain of the 2008 Stratford state championship team and Henry was the captain of  Stratford's first state championship soccer  team in 1990.
