Not even Hurricane Isaac could dampen the spirit of the Eagles as the Stratford family gathered for the 11th annual Eagle Night to kick-off the 2012-13 athletic season. The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the 2012 GISA-AAA Michael Drake Athletic Excellence Award. This is a traveling trophy which is presented annually to the school with best overall athletic program. Points are earned throughout the year based on the order of finish in 20 different state competitions. Morgan Long and Kyle Smith from Stratford's Class of 2012 challenged to the athletes of 2012-13 to give it all on the playing field and keep the GISA trophy at Stratford. Let's all show our Eagle Pride by supporting our fall sports teams, cheerleaders and band.
